Lianhuashan (Lianhua Hill) temple fair is held every year from the first day to the sixth day of the sixth month of the Chinese lunar calendar(usually at the end of June or the beginning of July).It is a traditional folk temple fair with such activities as praying, folk show, craft exhibition, snacks fair, etc, which attract a large number of tourists every year. Now the festival has been a theme of the local tourism industry.
The temple fair is a traditional folk activity. In the past during those six day, the local people would go to the temple to pray for blessing. The praying was usually let by a local leader, and gradually people from neighboring communities would come to join in the activity so that it became a big gathering.

Tips: During the festival, there will be a praying gathering, craft exhibition, food fair. Admission on the first day is 10 yuan a person.
